lead by example was always preached to me as a young child, then it meant not beat up on your babysister or jumping out of grandma's tree to see if your cousin would do the same and break his ankle. At youth you where teached it meant to be kind to others no matter how many bullies come your way, mind your manners to your elders and always be honest. Till your young adulthood came to play , life began to change , words seemed to be more influential , temptations conflicting your brain and your soul is hopefully united with the words of our lord. Over time the words " lead by example " seemed to be just a simple haise of moral code for the world, but inlightened it was so much more.... it's what truely seperated the saved from the worldly, the female to the virtuous women and the love of God versus the love from the world. Lead by example was more important then ever! Looking back at my youth i wish most importantly i could have taken the words so much more seriously then just brushing off what people thought of me. Just as God gave us the leading example of Christ, so shall we be the leading example to our fellow brother and sisters in Christ. When i entered GEMS ( girl entering meaningful services ) Camp in 2007 they tought us Gods word on leading by example as women, wifes, and even for our children. Everything we do in our lives someone is watchin , learning and making judgements on our virtuous. Why not give them someone to look forward to meet, talk to or even be. living faithfully helps more then yourself but also the people around ; As a mother those words are greater now then ever before. I was led by example by the members of Christ in Valdosta, Jasper and Crawfordsville being inspired everyday by there love, virtuous , faithfulness and well being for others. Now I pass that down to my daughter and the fellow brotheren of Houston Church of Christ in hopes that thru my good works maybe someday we can all lives faithfully. For we are all led by example.
